He, She, Me, We, Be

When I was in the first grade, I learned to read using a book called Let’s Read. It was a simple tool for a child, but one particular phrase stuck with me like a mantra: He, She, Me, We, Be. Decades later, I’ve realized these weren’t just building blocks for reading; they were to become the architecture of our community. At the GodLuck Club, we use these simple words to navigate the complex journey of human connection.

He & She This is where we begin: with the person we don't yet know. It represents the "stranger" whose stories and myths remain a mystery until we invite them to sit down. In our supper club, we look past labels to find the human being behind the tradition.

Me This is the individual soul and the "grandmother’s recipe" we each bring to the table. It is the practice of showing up as our authentic selves, sharing our own history and our own "why" without the weight of having to defend a dogma.

We This is the magic that happens when individuals become a community over a shared meal. It is the commonwealth we create in the living room, proving that our collective humanity is stronger than the fear that tries to divide us.

Be This is the state of becoming, the delicious, present moment where we simply exist together. It is the soul of our global sanctuary: a space where we simply exhale and exist with one another.

The Art of Becoming

In our Be stage, we are becoming a global movement that dares to imagine a future for humanity without walls, just dinner plates, bellies filled, hearts safe. More than a supper club, we are a sanctuary for the "why." We are proving that when we master the simple rhythm of moving from Me to We, we create a world where peace is no longer a dream, but a lived reality.
